johnWeeGo.jpgFor some reason SQL 2005 help is showing "help on help". Very frustrating. What i need is a simple reference of the correct function names like ROUND() etc. Anyway this is the best i could find from MSDN:

Re: SQL 2005 help has gone - try this instead

Let me see... I loaded up a query in Management Studio, double-clicked on row_number (to select it), hit F1, and SQL Books Online opened up to a page about row_number()...

Same thing happened for the word ROUND. Actually - I don't even need to select it. So long as the cursor is on the keyword, it works.

Rob, you are right.
That works for me. But say i didn't know what "BOUNDS" was called? I press f1, get help on help, search for "Bounds" and get 0 returns.
How do I search the books online from help? I suspect something is not setup properly by default.
