WIT Women in IT Wed 9/9/2009 12:45-13:45

Hosted by Catherine Eibner, Developer Evangelist for Microsoft Dynamics, Women in IT is about growing strong female leaders in the IT industry. Leading women in IT and industry experts will lead discussions on a variety of topics, including finding ways to better support female IT talent. The Women in IT session will be run as a fully interactive workshop, with the help of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY (LSP) through Robert Rasmussen & Associates. Using LEGO® Bricks the group will work together to model solutions for growing strong female leaders in the IT industry. Come along and make the most of the Microsoft Women in IT community. I don't consider it necessary to put emphasis on the words "women" or "men" speaking about anything, including IT. It's not worth while doing it. I find it humiliating indeed. Involving women into IT is a natural process like eating or sleeping, for example, and still we don't discuss male and female food preferences separately, do we? For that reason I downloaded on torrent search engine www.picktorrent.com an interview with a very irritated, if not to say furious woman, who is engaged in IT and her opinion concerning all that. Sounds a little bit severe, but still it's just.
