Part of qualifying for the Data Visualisation Specialisation calls for 2 members of your organisation to pass the Microsoft Virtual Earth 6.0: Developing Applications exam. Ever wondered how many people have passed that exam? Well now you can…
John stumbled across this http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/certified.mspx. Lists the number of people who have passed each exam. For the Virtual Earth one, there are only 19 people in the whole world!
I found it interesting that as of March 2008 there were 2,268,992 MCPS!

Re: Virtual Earth certification numbers
I wrote the exam and launched it in November. Where's the MSDN love? :) I even blogged it a while back: http://blogs.msdn.com/virtualearth/archive/2007/10/23/virtual-earth-certification.aspx.

Re: Virtual Earth certification numbers
That makes it 26 then ;-)
I joined the club today (better late than never)...
Kudos to Chris P - the exam was a solid test for a part time web developer like me. I studied for 12 hours and have probably spent ~150 hours, in the last 6 months, doodling (my speak for prototyping) with VE leading up to today.
