Re: We’ve turned 500!

How annoying is it that the #1 post (sticky keys) is something completely unrelated to what you blog about normally (VE).

I have the same problem with this post:
http://ozgrant.com/2006/04/30/vista-fix-no-sound-through-speakers-on-dell-laptop/

It gets 3X the traffic of any other post on my blog! It's tempting to remove the page just so it doesn't skew the stats :)

True, but the comments on sticky keys are v. amusing :) Things like almost handing in a thesis in caps or thinking they are going to be killed by their brother.

Re: We’ve turned 500!

Ah, I lived with that issue on my 9300 for about a year. I'll have to try it out! I really like it when you search for some bizzar issue and find that someone else in the world has found a solution. I guess we write posts about stuff we do, this is why people subscibe to the blog. But the odd tip or trick is so incredibly useful for that person that is stuck with the same issue.
I wonder if in the future search engines will be even more granular with this content, not just web, images, blogs as they do now but maybe break blogs down further to filter on these specific searches.
